Parkour (sometimes abbreviated to PK) is a utilitarian discipline based upon the direct, successful, swift traversing of one's surrounding environment via the practical application of techniques, based around the concept of self-preservation. It is a non-competitive, physical discipline of French origin in which participants run along a route, attempting to negotiate obstacles in the most efficient way possible, using only their bodies. Skills such as jumping, climbing, vaulting, rolling, swinging and wall scaling are employed. Parkour can be practiced anywhere, but areas dense with obstacles are preferable and it is most commonly practiced in urban areas.
The term "freerunning" is sometimes incorrectly used interchangeably with "l'art du déplacement".

LE FESTIVAL PERFFUSION 2011

Il a fallu sept jours à Dieu, le Père, pour créer la terre et les êtres qui la peuplent...
Il n’en faudra pas plus au festival Perffusion - territoire de tous les possibles - et ses apôtres
pour transformer une contrée obscure en espace de vie dédié à l’art et la convivialité.


Du 19 au 25 septembre à Strasbourg dans le quartier Laiterie, Démocratie Créative à l’origine
de ce chantier, vous convie à participer à l’aube d’un jour nouveau : ateliers, aménagements,
rendez-vous, installations, concerts... le tout sur entrée libre dans l’espace public !


Une effervescence de projets artistiques pendant laquelle nous allons explorer les possibles
de l’environnement urbain et du mieux vivre ensemble avec la participation de plus
de 50 intervenants.
